"If you are looking for one night hotel to stay before going to Shiretoko, this is the place! This hotel is in walkable distance to the airportliner and other coach buses. Breakfast was great as well. The only downside is that the bathroom is very small. "

"Loved this spot mainly because of the great customer service. I wanted to visit this port town and it wasn’t too far from the JR Abashiri station. The staff was really friendly and helped us get a taxi going back to the station and also helped me find where to get a souvenir doll from the town. The room was nice. A little small, but that’s normal for Japan. It was clean. I liked the toothbrushes they give out and brush. The WiFi in the room worked well and there were a few plugs. The sauna on 9F is pretty great and even has an outside spa overlooking the snowy town. Really great way to start my morning before checking out. They also offer free laundry which I wish more hotels did. You only have to pay to dry your clothes. Recommend! "

"Overall I enjoyed my 2 nights here. Pluses - easy parking on site, free breakfast ok with hot and cold dishes, Japanese and western but no tea available. Room ok just a bit dark. Wifi variable. Laundry facilities good. First night I was on 3F which I think was above the public bath and so noisy with machinery noises I hardly slept. I asked to be moved to a higher floor and the gentleman took care of it all and I slept well the next night on 8F. In the morning of course there were guest wake up alarms going off at 530&630 am which I could hear but that is not really the hotel's fault as it happens everywhere.Staff were helpful and using translation apps worked fine."

"I stayed in a 'comfort twin' room for 4 nights and really liked this hotel. The room was a good size and I had a lovely view of the mountains to the north. It's probably been a while since this hotel has been refurbished but the public areas were comfortable. There are a number of vending machines, an ice machine and you can get free hot drinks from a machine in the lobby. The staff were friendly and arranged the forwarding of my luggage with Yamato. Breakfast was a self service buffet with a reasonable selection of hot and cold dishes, including some pastries. It's the first time that I've stayed anywhere that has a machine that dispenses rice. I travelled by public transport and the hotel is very conveniently located opposite the train station and just round the corner from the bus station. On the corner opposite the hotel is a seicomart (Hokkaido chain of combini like 7Eleven and Lawsons). I'd very happily stay here again if I return to Shari."
