"Though a little away from things and I somehow got lost every single time I set foot outside, I did enjoy staying here. The pool was delightful and the A/C was a lifesaver. Staff was very good and helpful (e.g. immediately dealt with a blown fuse when I told them about it), but it should be noted that I think they spoke less English than the property advertised (I REALLY should have used Google translate to explain what was going on with the previously mentioned blown fuse). "What a wonderful stay - the room was comfortable and chic with strong AC, a comfort bed, and a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar and pool were lovely with amazing views of the ocean. Benjamin and the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great - right in the heart of Stone Town. I highly recommend it! "

"I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to"

"We had an amazing 2 weeks here everything was really perfect . The owner eas around sometimes and when he was he was really pleasant and you can tell he has pride in the place and wants his customers to have a wonderful experience. "Right on the beach in StoneTown .This hotel is unmatched for location as well as service. Friendly and caring staff who are happy to assist with all your needs. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air-conditioned, a mini fridge, and kettle with coffee and tea provided. Great pool areas which were well maintained. A charming place with lots of history. I would definitely stay again!"

"The hotel is well staffed and are always happy to help. The hotel and accommodation is very clean and is constantly kept clean. The pools are warm and relaxing. The Masai on the beach are warm and welcoming but can be a little full on at times, but hotel security are great at moving them along if you want to be left alone. The food and entertainment are fabulous and range if all inclusive drinks are great. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and food. I never go back to the same hotel, but this is one I would consider returning back to. "
