"We stayed in a Chalet at Solway holiday park, I was pleasantly surprised how modernised and spacious the chalets were, was a lovely home for the weekend, we had a hot tub which didn’t seem to have any chemicals in to keep the water clean so by day 3, the water was green but the kids loved it until then. On sight swimming was poorly managed, there is no booking system for swimming and no time limit on how long you can swim for so everytime we tried to go, it was full and the waiting list was a...

"When we arrived, the lodge was spotlessly clean. It’s in a perfect location with wonderful views all around. Me and my wife would just sit and watch the horses trot by and the Red Kites loop around the sky. The Hot Blast trail is a great way to burn a few calories after breakfast and gives even better views from up around Neilson’s monument. We will definitely be back."

"Wow what a find! This property is wonderful, it really is a bargain price compared to others, perfect location with so much to do in the surrounding areas. The lodge is cleaned to the highest of standards and so homely and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Prior to arrival Louise was great with her communication and on arrival everything was perfect and the guest book was so useful with loads of suggestions for things to do. We had the most wonderful holiday, definitely booking again."

"A lovely large, clean, comfortable, well equipped property in a quiet location in southern Scotland. Host Nigel was very responsive and pointed us to some great walks close by. "This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay."
