"Spent 2 peaceful nights at the Melbreak Hotel. It was really handy for exploring the Lake District which we were happy about, the only downside was the 4.30pm check in time which we thought was quite late but we still had a lovely time. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and chatty."

"Arrived off the cuff without table reservations on New Year’s Eve and the owner and staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best we also had a dog with us and she was truly spoilt ..
