"The room was OK, small size but enough for what it's used. We didn't have any problems and the staff were helpful. The bed was too firm, as it tends to be the case in most places in Japan. The pillow in the room was like a brick. Luckily you can go downstairs and choose a different pillow from some shelves, which we didn't find in other hotels. "Likes: Interesting breakfast with the option for in-room dining. Beautiful minimalist design. Good size rooms. Environmentally conscious. Friendly staff and service. Onsen. Washing machines, vending machines, microwave, ice maker. Dislikes: Lack of parking (but understandable in a big city). "Amazing hotel. Hot springs is the main feature. The hotel also provides a comfortable resting room if you don't want to stay in your room all the time. There are complimentary drinks and ice cream. "I left my luggage with the reception when I had to make a 2-day trip to Tokyo. When I returned to Nagoya and checked in again, the staff used their initiative to transfer my luggage to my newly assigned room. This was much appreciated because I checked in near midnight and was carrying some luggage from my Tokyo trip. "
