"The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street. There is ample street parking so it is a good location for those renting vehicles to explore Crete. We visited Knossos and Matala Beach but did not have time to visit the Old Town of Heraklion. "This property is amazing. It’s close to the port, walking distance to the center with all the amazing coffee shops, stores & restaurant. The staff is amazing! They are so friendly & treat you like a friend more than a client. The view of the sea is beautiful. Great A/C, elevator & breakfast. We, a family of 3 all agree it was perfect t for what we needed. I would definitely book again if I return to Heraklion. "
