"Other than it being insanely hot in the hotel, it was great! Clean, comfortable, quiet, big car park, can walk into town in 10 minutes. There is their pub, a MacDonalds and Chinese restaurant on the doorstep. You can easily walk to Loch Lomond, the forest/park, pubs and shops. The hotel isn't staffed and you check in inside the pub (separate building) but it was easy and the staff there were lovely."

"Lovely place, very clean and comfortable rooms. We had a a bit of an issue at check in, we had booked a family room which turned out to be a double bed and a trundle bed which they brought up. The trundle bed was not fit for purpose really, it didn't look safe to sleep on. Couldn't fault the staff or the manager though, they were very helpful and made sure to try and resolve the issue for us straight away. "Rooms good although with no control over heating i could find and see. came on late at night. Good location nit too far from centre and lovely views across to the bay. Standard greene king food good quality and options I would use again and good value "
