"I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around. They had also left us a welcome pack which included a bottle of Prosecco, that was a lovely extra. We made full use of the log burner as it wasn’t the best of weather when we were there. "Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. On top of that, our hosts were beyond helpful with answering questions and requests even before we arrived at this great little gem of a place."

"What a lovely cottage! It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beautiful, quiet setting near Stirling. We explored the jail and the castle. Took the train to Edinburgh (not a lot of parking at the station). Drove to the ferry to Isle of Arran (take your car if you can). This cottage is in a great location for touring the Edinburgh/Glasgow area."

It was a shame the dishwasher program didnt work, the fire alarm fell from the ceiling and the tv was too old to take any form of digital equipment, nor did the dvd function work. Otherwise the cottage is lovely in a pretty spot The foul weather made tv more important I guess. It shortened our stay by half.
