"This was our first time staying in this area and I’m so glad we did! The lodge is beautiful, situated overlooking a wee loch and hills. It was bright, spacious, clean and well equipped. Each bedroom has it’s own en-suite, handy when there are a few of you. The lovely part is the patio doors that lead out to the veranda from both the main bedroom (beautiful view to wake up to!) and the large kitchen/diner, so you have this amazing landscape right in front of you. "The over-riding thing for us all was that the accommodation was not clean. In fact, it was dirty. The shower cubicles are shocking. There were sweet wrappers at the side of my bedside table, also large balls of fluff all around the skirting boards. It hadn’t been cleaned. The sink in the kitchen was a disgrace, with a filthy piece of string attaching the plug to the sink so we could wash dishes. The window sills in the living room were thick with dust. The beds were uncomfortable. I could go on...
