"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Owl's Nest. We were able to check in early because the host communicated when the property was ready. The cabin is clean, cozy and packed with amenities and fun! We played basketball, kayaked, completed a beautiful wooden puzzle, enjoyed 2 family movies and most importantly relaxed! This was our 2nd spring break trip to the Owl's Nest and we look forward to booking again! Thank you!!"

"Views are amazing. Cabin is cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately the hot tub was not clean. Didn't want to bother anyone with the weather we were having. Would have been nice if we could have used it, but overall would definitely stay here again. Very close to just about anything you would want to do or need."

"We adored our time in this cute cabin close to Ohiopyle. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillows, and we LOVED the hot tub. It's private, and just out the back door - no need to spend too much time in the cold air between inside and the tub. They provided really clear instructions on what was available and what to bring - we were glad to have our extra roll of toilet paper, as they do not provide backup. "We were at Deep Creek during the off season, and the area was very quiet & beautiful. The location was in a small neighborhood where it was easy to walk our dogs. The house looked very much like the photos; best parts were probably the private deck with hot tub, kitchen, and upstairs loft. Our host provided many great recommendations for local eats and there is an amusement center in town with go karts, mini golf, ninja course, and arcade machines which we enjoyed. "The cabin was pretty clean, it had enough room and space for 10 people and we have extra beds left. The kitchen is well equipped with all utensils and plates, bowls, pans, etc. It was overall great! Unfortunately we had bad weather and the couches and the grill got all wet since the wind blew the covers. Also, the grill was not cleaned by guest and it was left all dirty so we had to clean it just to find out it didn’t have gas. "

"Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings."

"Amazing find! What a unique accommodation. Rustic but refined with all the amenities of home but with peace, quiet and nature. Enjoyed exploring the grounds and hiking trails and even came across a porcupine. Would definitely stay here again. Probably the best accommodation in the whole area. I can’t imagine coming to deep creek and staying in a boring condo or lake house. Looking forward to checking out every cabin on the property! 5 stars all the way."
