Your extended family will feel right at home in our spacious cottage on a secluded, Georgian Bay-like property, with its rocky shoreline, rolling hills and utter privacy.
No long treks to the water here! Cranberry Lake is literally at your doorstep. A warm-water lake known for swimming, fishing and boating, it's also part of the historic Rideau Canal Waterway - A UNESCO Heritage site and the oldest continuously operated canal in North America.
The Space:
This gorgeous 1.5-acre property reminiscent of the Georgian Bay landscape includes a large deck with a built-in hot tub, a floating dock, a lakeside fire pit, a kids playground, a bunkhouse and a boathouse with dock. During warmer months we also set out a massive floating mat, which is always a huge hit with kids an adults alike!
The water in our protected cove is full of fish (bass, pike, etc.) and perfect for both swimming and paddling. Head out for a peaceful morning kayak, take in a sunset from the lakeside bonfire or grab a drink and a good book and settle in on our scenic floating dock. During colder months, bring your skates and enjoy the frozen lake!
Inside our cottage, you'll find a welcoming, open-concept living/dining area with water views, large bedrooms and thoughtful décor throughout. The kitchen has been recently renovated and offers all the appliances and cooking wares you need for group meals.
