"We really enjoyed the peaceful setting with the pond and plenty of wildlife to view. Watching the sun rise while the deer wandered by the pond was one of my favorite moments. The cabin was well decorated, very clean, and had a full kitchen. We went to Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg and the drive was not too far. It was the perfect place to feel out in hill country but still able to drive to destinations for the day!"

"My grandchildren have not experienced camping in a tent. I wanted them to experience sitting around a picnic table rather than a living room, everyone sharing one room, one bathroom for all of us, no screens for most of the day, few appliances. All was accomplished! Management was responsive to all needs and offered solutions. The property feels the pinch of no available workers. I find that is everywhere!"

"This property is beautiful! It’s less than 15 minutes from Lago Vista, which has a grocery store and food places, and is about 10 minutes from a beautiful spot on Lake Travis. The property is quiet and beautiful, and the owner was very helpful and kind with check in and questions during our stay. One thing to be sure you are aware of is that there is no running water, and the bathroom is a port-a-potty. This was fine with us, but we didn’t see this detail before arriving. "My stay surpassed my expectations! This little cabin it's beautiful! Expect the unexpected. The owners thought about every little detail for you to be comfortable. What they call the main house it's a common area where the luxury restrooms are, a comfortable living room, a well equipped kitchen, plus everything you need as if you were at home. "Excellent Time"

"The property has a beautiful view. Nice and breezy. It’s safe no wild life around. We had to park our vehicle at the bottom of the hill and hike up to the cabin. With that being said we left the luggage in the vehicle. Next time we will prepare better. The only problem we encountered was the shower. There was not enough water for 2 people. Overall It was a good adventure!"
