"Great place. Friendly and well positioned. The church clock does chime every 15 minutes from 6:00am although it would depend on the room location as to how loud that is."

"We were impressed with the staff and service. However, the walls seemed paper thin as we could hear the coversations of the people next door. The toilet flushing was extreemly loud and the lighting was terrible, particularly if we needed to get up in the middle of the night, as it was pitch black - we had to leave the bathroom light on all night with the door slightly ajar. Very disappointing."

"My travelling companion unfortunately left his coat in the room - the hotel retrieved it and bagged/boxed it to enable it to be collected by Royal Mail and he had it back in a few days."

"Staff were excellent both in checking in and out, room was large and clean. Breakfast was brought to the room and was very good. It is close to town and would recommend to stay."

"A wonderful, peaceful stay at the Talbot Hotel. Convenient parking, decent coffee maker and everything one needs in a hotel room ie iron, hairdryer, quality toiletries. Great food and relaxed dining options and environment with the added bonus of being truly dog friendly. Staff in the restaurant were engaging with great customer service. A special shout out to Vanessa and Neil and all the staff in the restaurant. Thank you for a relaxing stay. "
