Didn't use the spa, so can't comment, looked ok when walked past it. My TV in the room was broken. If within budget worth going again. Parking is free which is a bonus. Fairly quiet area. "

"Check in was very easy and shown to our 1st floor room which had views over the church on one side and the courtyard on the other,everything about the room was very good. With a loverly bathroom and dressing room all very clean and well equipped. The whole hotel was very well maintained and the staff very helpful and cheerful. "Great hotel in a lovely location within walking distance of everything in Stamford. We had booked a Cosy Room which was on the small side but was perfectly comfortable for our one-night stay. It had a lovely view out over the gardens, and was well-equipped with a small fridge and a kettle. There were also delicious cookies in the room on our arrival. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of hot food which is cooked to order; we were able to eat it outside as the weather was so warm. ...

"Comfortable suite, comfy bed and sofa. Could have benefited from a side table for tea etc by the sofa. Despite works still being carried out it did not interfere with our stay. Beautiful building. Pretty village."
