"Nice hotel beds are a little too hard for our liking but that is subjective to everyone. Breakfast was luke warm at best so a little disappointed, overall a pleasant stay. "

"Friendly, helpful and very polite staff. Comfortable bed and spacious en suite room. Plenty of clean towels and toiletries.Tea and coffee making in room. Quiet room, clean and warm. Good choices for breakast and highly recommend the Shimla for a great curry. Plenty of hangers but only had coat hooks for hanging items. Easy walking distance for Perth city centre and walks beside the Tay."

"My parents had a lovely stay at the hotel. I had booked for my Mum's 70th birthday. They found the hotel staff very welcoming and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the cleanliness was of a very high standard throughout the hotel. They had a lovely evening meal as well as a nice breakfast. Thank you for making their stay enjoyable and they would definitely like to come again."

"Nice central place to stay. Staff nice and helpful. Only down side was the bottom surround of the shower had black mould the rest of the room was lovely n clean. As was only staying 1 night was able to miss using the shower. Would still recommend but advise to have this issue seen to."

"The owners were fabulous and so kind. This was my favorite stop on our trip. The breakfast was so delicious and came out so quickly. The property is beautiful and is so close to the Birks and the center of town you can walk everywhere. I will definitely return on my next trip to Aberfeldy. "

"What an amazing place! We only stayed for a single night sadly however Graham and Karen went out of their way to look after us and could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Their guest house is beautifully decorated with original features in abundance mixed with contemporary touches - warm, comfortable and intimate. Our room was huge and had an incredible four-poster bed and bathroom with large jacuzzi bath. Everything was spotlessly clean and in perfect order, obviously fastidiously...

"Had a lovely 3 night stay at Heathpark. Meg and Chris were so warm, welcoming and attentive. Stayed in a single room which was a good size, cosy, and a very comfortable bed and fab shower. Great choices at breakfast with a daily special making it difficult to choose. Everything freshly cooked and well presented. Can't recommend this guest house highly enough. Meg and Chris do everything to make sure you (and your dog) have a pleasant stay. I look forward to returning in the future."

"The staff were very nice and open-hearted. They explained me many things, brought towels directly ro my room and even talked and played dart with me, while I waited for my dinner, which was a great local beef burger. The dart is free and so is the great breakfast, where the lovely owner made me croissants, toast, scrambled eggs and provided cereals, although I was a bit late for it (8.30 - 9.30). "When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours. We decided to leave and returned the key. Apart from the cold, there was nothing welcoming about the cottage. There was no welcoming pack or instructions. "This hotel was recommended to me as nice country estate with good staff. The hotel was in fact very good I enjoyed the room large, very comfortable large bed, warm and nice hot shower with very good cleaning daily. I used the indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub they were clean, warm, nice towels provided sorry I didn't have time to try the spa. The restaurant buffet breakfast was excellent with great selection of fruit, cheeses, bakery goods and deli meats each morning. Dinner menu had great appetizers and desserts, the standard nightly entrees were very good, the nightly specials were more hit or miss. But overall the best were the entire staff from cleaning, pool area, front desk, and restaurant/bar servers everyone was so nice and responsive to any question or request. I also used one of the on-site activities County Clays for a shooting lesson and the teacher Dave was excellent."

Turret suite

"Really enjoyed our two-night stay in one of the turret suites. The hotel was still beautifully decorated for Christmas but very peaceful being a few days after Hogmanay. Overall condition of the building is excellent, especially given its age and historic nature, which must make it a real challenge to maintain. Our room, bathroom and the turret lounge above were very clean and well presented. Excellent comfy super-king bed. Public rooms were lovely - warm and welcoming. Swimming pool area was very clean and a pleasure to use."

"I like that the owner of the hotel is working front desk along with his staff and overseeing hotel operations personally. The property is recently built so everything is brand new. The rooms are comfortable and have all necessary basics. The breakfast was included and had a good variety of choices. Location is also perfect. It’s right at the beginning of the main road, walking distance to the town restaurants and shops. "
