"Really enjoyed our two-night stay in one of the turret suites. The hotel was still beautifully decorated for Christmas but very peaceful being a few days after Hogmanay. Overall condition of the building is excellent, especially given its age and historic nature, which must make it a real challenge to maintain. Our room, bathroom and the turret lounge above were very clean and well presented. Excellent comfy super-king bed. Public rooms were lovely - warm and welcoming. Swimming pool area was very clean and a pleasure to use."

"Another excellent stay at the Apex Dundee. The staff are extremely friendly and the rooms are decorated tastefully with high levels of cleanliness. Only down side was that room service was unavailable online."

"I like that the owner of the hotel is working front desk along with his staff and overseeing hotel operations personally. The property is recently built so everything is brand new. The rooms are comfortable and have all necessary basics. The breakfast was included and had a good variety of choices. Location is also perfect. It’s right at the beginning of the main road, walking distance to the town restaurants and shops. "

"Wonderful hotel and staff overall. Only negatives were no late room service due to having no stock on both nights understandable with it being 1st & 2nd January but slightly disappointing but got an UberEats so all good. Secondly despite late check out and confirming this with staff and putting do bot disturb sign on door housekeeping still came into room 2 hours before checkout time while we were in. Otherwise our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Bar staff were lovely as were reception staff. "
