"I loved the decor and friendly staff. It is a uniquely interesting hotel with each room named after an author. They even give you a bookmark with your key when you check in. They have special suites like The Sherlock Holmes and Treasure Island suites among numerous others. The beds are comfortable. There was a lovely stained glass window in our room that actually opened. We could see lots of greenery and squirrels here and there outside our window. The Fox and Hound Tavern on site also has a lot of character. The menu includes unusual cocktails and bar food. The breakfast included a variety of fruit, baked goods, scrambled eggs, ham, and sausages among other staples. We really enjoyed our stay. We’d like to go again when the pool is open. "
