"The hotel staff were great upon check-in/check-out. Room was spacious and clean but sat right over the top of the bar, so was a bit noisy until about 11:30 (on a Tuesday night). Also, apparently parents are allowed to leave their children unattended and running about the hallways at 10:30 p.m. at night. The evening dinner wait staff were excellent and so was the food! The wait staff for breakfast were lacking. We had to ask for bowls for the buffet, more coffee and they just seemed vacant and...

However the poor communication to me from Hotels.com regarding the checkin procedure & security deposit left me out in the rain before getting into my room. "The Cliff Townhouse is in a wonderful location overlooking Stephens Green. It's a renovated Georgian house so there are lots of steps - not a problem for me but it's something for others to be aware of. "Not a hotel. This is just a property that rent out rooms. There is no reception which felt unsafe. Very deceptive and shouldn’t be put up as a hotel. All doors handles were broken in our room. We also never received any email with details about our stay so we couldn’t get in when arrive. Would highly not recommend. "
