"The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. "

"Everything and everyone was great. We drank at the pub, ate in the dining room (Fish and Chips and the Tortalinni were fantastic) and we stayed in a room upstairs. Lots of options in town, but we were never disappointed at The Crown. We did splurge for treat at the bakery and it was very, very good as well. Lots of shopping and things to do walking up and down the main street. The Crown and the town of Callander offer everything you could want as a tourist!"

"Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Even on a really busy evening when fully booked in Thier restaurant they brought food to my room off Thier restaurant menu and it was the best food I had eaten in Crieff including eating at crieff hydro and a few local restaurants. The room was lovely and had a small kitchenette more than adequate. A really lovely stay. Highly recommend."

"Lovely stay, excellent location, but just a little disappointed with shower head not being able to be set in fixed position and even having to interrupt shower having to redo the shower unit, but probably offset by lovely breakfast!"

"We had a two night stay at 2 stones. Ben greeted us and was very welcoming, friendly & informative. We had a fabulous view looking out over loch Long. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. A decent sized bathroom although the shower was a little 'snug'. There was traffic noise from the road but it didn't affect our stay. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices. We would definitely return."

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "

"Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. On top of that, our hosts were beyond helpful with answering questions and requests even before we arrived at this great little gem of a place."

"We stayed at Bal-Na-Coille for five nights in August. The property has been decorated to a high modern standard with all rooms having on suite shower rooms. There is a separate bathroom too. The kitchen well designed and was well stocked with everything you would need in a self catering holiday and there is a BBQ available for use. The weather was against us most days but it was great to come back to the property after a day battling the elements thanks to how welcoming and cosy the house is. I...
