We were 30min or less from all the major sightseeing destinations including waterfalls, craters, and several lagoons/thermal baths. "Our reservation was overlooked and our room was not ready and had to wait over an hour to have staff clean a room. Despite this, the stay was still very good with beautiful surroundings and a delicious breakfast. Would stay there again for sure. "

"We all absolutely loved this house! I was captivated by the view from the deck and I’m so glad I took a chance bc it did not disappoint. The bedrooms and baths accommodated all 8 of us well and was an absolute dream during the northern lights season! This rental was better than I expected even from the pictures- but note— master suite is lovely but is detached from the main house and if you’re traveling from the states you may need Google translate to operate the kitchen appliances well. ...

"This was one of my highlights of Iceland! Hakon was an excellent host and provided us a unique Icelandic experience and really interesting tour of the island. The yurts were beautifully decorated, super clean and warm and dinner was amazing! Would highly recommend! 😊"

"Such a lovely, unique experience staying in a private ‘igloo’. Everything about the igloo has been well thought through. There are 3 heaters and electric mattress warmers to ensure warmth in the cold months. They were very effective. If the Northern Lights had been visible during our stay, we would have had the perfect view. "The property was absolutely beautiful. Lots of privacy, beautiful sunset and was able to catch a glimpse of northern lights during our stay. The dogs on the property were incredibly sweet and made the stay so much more memorable and fun."

"Property is stunning and the on site thermal pool was great! Also dark enough that we got to see northern lights. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Right in the Golden circle area so very convenient for seeing the major sites in this part of Iceland. Only complaint is that breakfast for roughly $40pp looked very basic for the price- just some pre prepared eggs so we decided to skip it"
