Luana Kai Resort is located on Maui’s South Shore on the Ocean side of S Kihei Road. Beautifully landscaped grounds w swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, cabana outdoor kitchen, and gas barbecue grills. Tennis courts, pickle ball courts, 9 hole putting green, and shuffle board. Complex is steps away from the ocean. 2 B/ 2B 2 story unit located on the top floor (3rd floor) with Ocean views off the lanai. 5 to 10 minute drive to some of Hawaii’s best beaches, golf, restaurants, and shopping.

Great place the only problem which the property manager knows about now was the dust and debris that was blown through the louvre windows in the up bedroom. The wind was gale force but louvred windows obviously can’t handle the wind, the bedroom was covered in dust we had to go and sleep downstairs. I believe there were other condos having the sample problem. Remove louvred windows and install solid windows, which I believe many condos have.

We just returned from spending 6 nights at this wonderful condo in Kihei. Working with Trish was seamless. The condo was recently renovated and provided all the needed items to make our stay enjoyable i.e. well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, a cooler, and a pickle ball court oceanside. Kihei popular beaches are just a short car ride. PAIA Fish Market restaurant as well as the Sugar Beach Bake Shop and Ululani's Shave Ice ROCK! We highly recommend this unit!! Wayne & family from CA

Clean beautiful 3rd floor apt w/ a Lanai-partial ocean & garden view. Great communications with the owner. 2 story apt: very clean, 3 TV's, W/D, very nice kitchen. This was a great location and a wonderful host. The condo was as promised with great supplies amenities (i.e. beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, cooler) basically all the stuff needed to enjoy the beach that you likely can’t bring with you when you travel here. The location to everything on the island is perfect. Not too busy but close enough to restaurants, beaches, amenities. Trisha was extremely communicative and followed up consistently. She was available when we had questions and provided all info well in time for our arrival. It is an older unit but we were very comfortable and it in no way hindered our enjoyment of our vacation. We felt very at home and the view out the lanai was perfect. The unit was quiet with a bit of road noise but that was easily drowned out by running the fan units as we slept. I would highly recommend this unit for families as the pool and beach access are terrific.

Fantastic Family Vacation!
This was a perfect condo for our family of 4! It was clean, comfortable and had lots of amenities. The air conditioning was a plus as well. The grounds were lovely and the pool area, with the outdoor kitchen, was a fun place to hang out. The property location was ideal, as it was central to many of the sites we visited on the island. It was very laid back, quiet, and didn't feel overcrowded. The staff in the office and around the grounds were friendly. Check in and out was super easy. We definitely hope to come back again some day!

My son, his wife and their 2 small children were very comfortable in the nicely furnished condo. The kitchen included all the items you might want for doing your own cooking. After a busy day, they enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai. Luana Kai is a lovely, smaller resort.

Great location and great pool area.
We loved the pool area with grills, hot tub , sauna, and complete kitchen set up. My son and granddaughter and I spent several evenings grilling out at the large pool area. Easy check in process, and great communication with the owner.

My family and I loved the location and views provided by this unit. We had a great time. We enjoy the beaches in Kihei and it was centrally located for us to hit many of our favorite beaches. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was very quiet. The floors were, however, quite dirty from the moment we arrived, the furniture is dated and not too comfortable, and much of the beach equipment was broken. Overall, we would be back because of location.

It looked nicer in the pictures, living room furniture crowded. Didnt use the tv except to view our vacation photos, worked fine Beds comfortable, bathrooms ok. I understand there is always a problem with sand plugging up the bath tub & shower drains. Overall it was as advertised.

Trisha was a great host- very responsive and had good suggestions on things to do in the area. While the unit is a little dated, the condo was as pictured in the listing. Twin beds in the bedroom were nice for the two kids, but the bed frames were fairly loud / squeaky. It was nice to have the beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach umbrella to use. A few other fun items that might be nice to include are pickle ball paddles, and a golf putter/balls. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Overall a wonderful stay!
Our family had a wonderful stay at this location! We thoroughly enjoyed the condo pool area, taking walks on the beach, and sitting on the lanai enjoying the view. Great location in Kihei!! Communication with the property manager was a breeze and she was extremely responsive and warm which was greatly appreciated. Check in and check out was seamless. The condo itself was comfortable and had everything we needed, although it is dated and needs some upgrades. If you’re a light sleeper, be prepared for outside noise (people and loud birds) and daylight early in the morning. Beds were ok, not great. A/C and ceiling fans were wonderful and kept the place very comfortable day and night. Plenty of towels, dishes, and cooking equipment! Overall, it was a great stay, I would just recommend the owners investing in some better amenities and conveniences.

Decent Condo in a great location
We felt that the condo itself was nothing to write home about, but the complex and location made this a decent place to stay. Communication with the owner was terrific and for the popular things to do, we felt staying in Kihei was terrific. Complex has nice pool/hot tub area with a number of grills to use. And if you are in to pickleball, there are 8 courts about 50 feet from the water. Amazing views while playing.

FABULOUS stay, FABULOUS location
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The resort was perfect for our family- the atmosphere was very family-oriented, and the complex was small enough that it didn't seem overwhelming or busy. The pool area was great with plenty of seating and BBQ space. The unit was lovely, and having two bathrooms with two bathtubs was a treat, and it was wonderful having the two levels- great for parents and kids, with separate spaces. This place has everything you need, including beach towels, sand toys and boogie boards. I would definitely recommend this complex and this unit and hope we are able to stay here again in the future. So much fun! Thank you Trish for the fabulous experience.

Nice little place
I really enjoyed my stay in this condo. It was clean and it smelled clean. Everything was in good repair. It was really nice! The location is excellent. and best of all I wasn't given a list of chores that must be completed before I checked out. i.e strip the beds, wash the towels etc etc. It was a vacation and felt like it. I would definitely stay again and recommend this condo.

Just what we needed.
This condo provided everything we needed to make our trip a success. For us, the location was great, easy access to where we wanted to go. Pool area was nice and the whole area seemed to be kept up in fine condition. If anything, I would say this unit could be updated but that is just cosmetics. Beds were comfortable, and it was nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. Trisha was always responsive and we felt was very genuine in wanting us to enjoy her place and have a great time.
