"This is a great place to stay in Mikocheni. Easy for drivers to find, close enough restaurant options, etc. The place is really nice and comfortable and we felt totally safe up on the high floor (there is also an elevator.) The AC and Wifi both worked without any issues. We had some issues with staff, but our host was so very accommodating and helpful. The views were beautiful as well. I hope to stay here again."

"The apartment layout is nice and convenient. It is close to many amenities such restaurants, supermarkets, bars, etc… Very convenient. The manager Emil is wonderful and very responsive. The few issues we found have mostly to do with cleanliness. The apartment is not well cleaned. The bathroom are not well cleaned and fixtures are old. Towels not clean. On our first day we found a green lezard crawling on the wall. I have to call the security guy to remove it. One of the bathroom doors cannot...

"The manager is great, making sure all is to your satisfaction. Food in the rooftop restaurant was delicious. Suites are huge with modern kitchen and lovely bathrooms. I would definitely stay there again if ever in Dar in the future!"

"This my second stay at The Airport Transit Lodges. I stay in Dar for a short amount of time each year before traveling to other regions in Tanzania. Wonderful experiences. Free and reliable transportation to/from the airport. No hassle! Friendly and easy check in with full information about the stay, hotel amenities, etc. Clean, nice room with working AC, fan, shower, Wi-Fi and TV. Nice breakfast included (eggs, hot beverages, cereals and pastries). Other meals are reasonably priced, fresh cooked and delicious. A nice variety. Best part of the stay is the staff is ALWAYS available and ready to help in any way possible. Luxury for me is not about the size of the room but if I feel welcome and cared for. This is my new home hotel in Dar. "

Beautiful hotel

"The hotel was beautiful from the outside and so well kept, food was of good standard as well as the service. The rooms looked dated a bit and needed modernising the shower door was loose and water came out when showering also there nowhere to go outside of the hotel, was very quiet the time we were there but overall was nice hotel. "
