"Overall would recommend. Beds were comfy and aircon was good if you cranked it. Nice private bunks. Bathrooms were a little grimey, but manageable. Pretty big language barrier with staff, were not helpful with travel plans. They were very sweet and wanted to help but have limited English. Right night to 7-11 and a manageable walk to the beach. Pretty quiet at night too!"

"This hostel is amazing from the staff to the location everything is right. It's based in a bungalow resort so you get to use all the resort facilities. Decent swimming pool and the beach is a few mins walk. The staff done everything for us without effort, I only booked 2 nights here and ended up staying 9 nights. Defo recommended from me"

"Sadly most of the staff was unfriendly (except one guy who showed us our dorm room) and not motivated to interact with residents or help (some even ignored the guests). Lots of the inventory (e.g. showers or dorm room beds) was broken and needed repair, but no one seemed to care. Also, it‘s one thing to set up strict rules, but the other thing is how you communicate them to the guests. We didn‘t feel welcomed and were happy when we finally left."

"This was such a nice hostel! The owner is super kind. He gave me a ride to the airport early the next day for a great price. The place is amazingly clean. The balcony was wonderful. The only regret I had was visiting without more friends to join me. I can imagine wonderful memories made on that balcony. Take your friends and visit this place on your way through Krabi!"

"Lai Thai is in a great location with great swimming pool. Kids pool, lane swimming for serious swimmers plus lovely general swim area. Sun beds and umbrellas made it perfect ! Lovely large rooms. Very comfy bed with good size balcony. "From the moment of check-in to when we checked out. The entire staff pandered to our every wish, On the second day it looked like one of the tires on my car was low. One of staff actually used a Bicycle Pump to top up the air. He then took me a local tire repair shop and got it fixed very cheap. The next day he came back and asked f all was well.
