"We're from Northern IL and try to find places a little further South to get away from the snow for a few days. This property that we booked fit the bill for us and our two Blue Heelers. The house had all the modern comforts, was super clean, and was nicely decorated. There is plenty of room for a larger group if needed. "We stayed 4 nights, clean and quiet! Host was amazing at replying…..really we didn’t try to bother her much. We were confused about parking but it’s just in front of this rental instead of on the side. We went exploring mostly, but coming back to a comfy house was great instead of a hotel. Thank you! "Stayed at this property during a weekend hunting trip to Ballard WMA. Perfect for what we needed. Older farm house, not perfect but had good heat, hot water and room for 4 adults. Owner was very nice and communicated very well. Checked to make sure we had everything needed. Very accommodating!"

"This place is just what we needed for our snow goose hunting camp! Place was clean and tidy and even had a pool table that made for hours of fun! Host went above and beyond to be helpful and was excellent with communication and was even kind enough to bring us some snow goose summer sausage (which was delicious)! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!!!"
