Plenty of space and great open areas for walking my dog. Owner was responsive to several of our questions/needs. And good location for groceries, restaurants and exploring Paducah. "

"The location is so beautiful and right next to the Heron Pond aide station! Jack was so kind and welcoming. The hot tub and sauna were a huge bonus and much needed for my sore legs after the race. I loved reading all of the stories from other people’s stay at the cabin—quite a few repeat visitors! My husband loved the screened in porch with the beautiful view. He spent quite a bit of time reading there while I was recovering before our journey home. We’ll definitely be back again next year!"

"Easy check-in, but steep steps. Very clean rental. Could use some upgrading on furniture. Mattress was really firm and took some getting used to. Pictures were accurate but could use some updating. Description said ketchup and mustard provided but then wasn’t available because it also says to clean out the fridge before you leave. Just something that stood out. "No WIFI, so bring your own internet connect but it really is a good place to just disconnect. Bring DVDs. Good dvd player and they do have a decent collection there. House is so nice and beds are very comfy. Staircase is very staircasey so make sure you are wearing anything but socks so you don’t slip on the smooth wood going up or down. We had a very nice time. The fire pit was so nice by the lake! My son was able to finish one of his badges there. No bugs in the house. Good location if you are...
