"All I can say is WOW! I went to one of the most remote towns in Alaska and stayed in the nicest VRBO ever! Kelly was an amazing host as a long time resident of McCarthy. He picked us and all of our gear up at the footbridge and drove us to the house. The house itself is beautiful and very well laid out with 1 main floor bedroom and a full bath and 2 large bedrooms upstairs with 2 queen sized beds, a daybed and 1 futon. Even the futon is really high quality and all beds have memory foam...

Absolutely AMAZING!!!

"All I can say is WOW! I went to one of the most remote towns in Alaska and stayed in the nicest VRBO ever! Kelly was an amazing host as a long time resident of McCarthy. He picked us and all of our gear up at the footbridge and drove us to the house. The house itself is beautiful and very well laid out with 1 main floor bedroom and a full bath and 2 large bedrooms upstairs with 2 queen sized beds, a daybed and 1 futon. Even the futon is really high quality and all beds have memory foam mattresses. The furnishings in the home are of a very high quality and super comfortable. The kitchen is wonderful with a huge gas range, tons of counter space, and has quality cookware for preparing meals. The side deck has a gas grill that is easy to use and looks brand new. The views from the dining room and living room are spectacular. I could not think of a single negative thing to say about this property. It is about a 5-7 minute walk from the restaurants and shuttle pickup. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. If I am ever back in McCarthy I would only stay in this home. Thanks Kelly for your hospitality!"
