"We were exploring the area for ten days. We made it to Merlwn,Yale and Swift reservoirs, Astoria, Seaside and Mt Hood, Bonneville dam and fish hatchery plus three trips to Columbia Outlet in Selwood and a bunch of other shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the BBQ. The beef, sweet corn and fresh fish are far superior to what is available here in Costa Rica. My girls were impressed an didn't want to come home. We had one fire in the fire pit. My wife idoes not grasp the campfire concept.Overall, we had a great time at the cottage.Thanks, LukeSteven E. Purcell"

"We had a wonderful few days in Kelso at our VRBO. Lots of room. We had a couple of rainy days so it was nice to have a nice place to hang out. Lots of coffee and snacks were provided and the host was very attentive to any needs we might have. Would definitely come back here again. "

"The room I booked wasn't available because it sustained property damage from a previous renter. The host reached out and asked if I would be willing to stay in a different room and gave me a 40 refund because it was smaller. I never saw the original room but it seemed a lot smaller. No kitchen, no lounge chairs. It felt like a Motel 6. And it shared a wall with a family with a child. I have a sound sensitive dog so I reached out to the host because I couldn't bring my dog inside. She was responsive but I had to wait until the child went to bed before I could bring my dog in (after 9:30pm). I feel the description of the property as "Charming Barn" is misleading. There are multiple mobile homes on the property and no barn. The water pressure was too low to take a shower. And there was a dead goat on the hillside that the vultures were eating (along with 2 live ones). I gave the host feedback so hopefully it improves for the next visitor. Pros: the host was very responsive, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. "

"Checkin was very easy! We requested a late check out and was easily accommodated. The continental breakfast was as expected. For me the bed was a little hard but my family loved it. Everytime we saw staff, either in the hall or at the front, they always smiled. We didn’t know it was a pet-friendly hotel. Next time we’ll bring our furbabies. Overall, we will be staying here again! "
