"I was trying to think of something to write on how I felt about my stay. On entering this lovely cottage, it felt like, one big cosy, warm, comfortable, safe and secure hug. I needed to get away for a short break, I didn't know at the time when I booked this last minute, it turned out to be just what I needed and so much more. Elaine, the host was absolutely lovely, her enthusiasm, love of the cottage and very friendly village was totally contagious and understandable. "This is a very nice property ideal for a large family or maybe 3 couples. Three fishermen cottages from the mid-1700s have been converted to make this spectacular house with incredible views over the Firth of Forth. It has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped. We were there with 7 people, two children 4 & 7, one young adult, and two couples. It worked very well for us. The only slightly negative thing I had to say was the loft room has a toilet but no shower and the kitchen area was difficult to heat. The rest of the house was toasty, the bathrooms were very nicely renovated, and the living room had views that everyone will appreciate. Fife Cottages communicated well, even to the point of reaching out to let us know that the house was ready early if we wanted to access it before the regular time. There are a few supermarket options within a 10 minute drive and several eating options within a 5 minute walk. I would recommend the “Chip-Shop” in the harbour area which also doubles as the local pub, restaurant, local gathering place. Great atmosphere and excellent service. There is also a very nice upmarket restaurant and a bakery a short walk up the hill. The Fife Coastal Path passes right behind the house and makes for excellent walks with great views. "

"Immaculately clean and very comfortable. Highlight is the comfortable beds. Rooms are receptively large, you would never think it was a ‘three bed three bath’ house from the street. Parking is on the street but there are usually spaces. Very convenient for the Fife Coastal Walk. Great views from south facing rooms across the firth. "
