"Castaway was great and very family friendly, in my opinion it’s a better option than kalahari if you have smaller kids. The resort and water my 10 year olds loved!! And the staff were very welcoming and kind and friendly! "

"The hotel is lovely—very unique and nicely furnished. My only complaint is the pet fees—we were told that we needed to pay $25/day/pet. That’s totally reasonable. When we checked in however, we were told there was an additional $75/per dog non-refundable deposit, that meant we paid $200just for our dogs!! That’s almost the cost of the room. Note to pet owners be very specific when asking about pet fees!!"
