Absolute Delight
A lovely apartment newly refurbished with all necessities provided. The owners could not do enough to make our stay a memorable one on this beautiful island. Would definitely stay at Cottage Hestia again, no hesitation and have recommended it to many friends. .

A Wonderful Holiday
We enjoyed a fantastic two week holiday in Kefalonia. Cottage Hestia and Mick & Maria's hospitality are 1st class. Kerramies is in a great position for visiting the island while also being only a 10 minute drive into Argostoli. For those who don't want to travel around there are two great local restaurants only a short walk away and many local beaches and coves where you can safely swim in the Ionian sea. We fully recommend this as a great way to visit a truly beautiful island. Many thanks to Mick & Maria for helping to make this a memorable holiday. Brian & Lyn

Perfect holiday
We had a wonderful stay in this property. The location is really ideal, it is in a quiet area but only a few minutes drive from the main attractions: sea, shops and places to have lunch and dinner. The hospitality is down to the last detail, the house is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and quality holiday and we felt at home from the first moment we arrived. Special praise goes to Mike, the host of the cottage: an exceptional person, always available and ready to help with any request. His kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. Definitely recommended accommodation.

Ein idyllischer Ort auf Kefalonia
Der Aufenthalt bei Michael and Maria war von der der ersten Sekunde an warm und herzlich. Die außergewöhnliche Hilfsbereitschaft und Unterstützung bei Fragen habe ich bisher bei meinen Aufenthalten so noch nicht erlebt. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Die Unterkunft war blitzeblank und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist top, um die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu erreichen. Vielen Dank nochmal für die Zeit in Eurem tollem Cottage, wir haben es genossen!

This is a lovely cottage with everything we needed for our two week stay. The owners, Mike and Maria were such friendly and helpful hosts we felt we had known them for years. Mike entertained us with his Accordian playing and singing, he even arranged a Cyclone while we were there, very exciting..

Una perfetta sistemazione in Keramies/ A perfect location in Keramies
Appartamento molto accogliente e ben attrezzato, molto pulito e organizzato per farti sentire "a casa". I proprietari, Maria and Mike, sono molto amichevoli e disponibili per qualsiasi richiesta. La mia amica ed io abbiamo trascorso due settimane molto tranquille potendoci spostare nelle tante spiagge vicine della costa sud dell'isola. Il cottage è decisamente molto raccomandato. Very cozy and well equipped apartment, very clean and organized to make you feel 'at home'. The owners, Maria and Mike, are very friendly and available for any requests. My friend and I spent two very quiet weeks being able to move to the many nearby beaches on the south coast of the island. The cottage is definitely highly recommended.

Soggiorno STUPENDO!!
Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo trovati molto bene con i proprietari: molto cordiali e disponibili, non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla!! ci hanno accolti presso l'aeroporto al nostro arrivo e ci hanno accompagnato presso l'ufficio per il noleggio dell'auto che avevamo fermato. Il cottage è esattamente come nelle foto, molto pulito e confortevole. Non ci hanno chiesto nessun contributo aggiuntivo né per il wi-fi, né per l'accoglienza in aeroporto. la posizione della location è strategica, a 12 minuti dall'aeroporto, 15 minuti dalle spiagge di sabbia. consiglio vivamente il noleggio dell'auto per poter visitare le spiagge presenti sull'isola!!

komfortables Häuschen in ruhiger dörflicher Umgebung
Wir hatten traumschöne 3 Wochen Urlaub und sind froh bei Maria und Mick gebucht zu haben, bei denen wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben! Das Häuschen hat alles, was man braucht, ist sehr sauber und schön ausgestattet mit einer hübschen Terrasse und liegt in sehr ruhiger Gegend. Das Bad war das beste Bad, was wir in Griechenland bisher hatten. Wir wurden mit einem Begrüßungspaket bestehend aus Wasser, Wein, frischem Brot, Marmelade und Butter sehr herzlich empfangen. Die beiden Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben sogar unsere Wäsche gewaschen und uns auch vieles über das Leben auf der Insel und die Schildkröten erzählt. Der Ort Keramies liegt günstig, in max. 15 Minuten erreicht man Argostoli und auch einige schöne Strände, die selbst in der Hauptsaison noch Platz bieten. Der Ort selbst hat einen kleinen Laden und 2 familiengeführte Tavernen, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir empfehlen aber unbedingt ein Auto um die vielen wunderschönen Plätze rund um die Insel erkunden zu können. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir uns gut vorstellen können wieder zu kommen. Nochmals herzlichen Dank an Maria und Mick für die wunderschöne Zeit!

Stupenda casetta, molto curata, arredata con cura, dotata di ogni comfort. I proprietari di casa molto simpatici e sempre disponibili, con la loro premura e consigli, ci hanno reso il soggiorno molto piacevole. Il paese molto tranquillo ed immerso nel verde offre oltre alla tranquillità, la possibilità di visitare in breve tempo tutte le più belle località dell'isola. Ci torneremo volentieri.

Cottage indipendente con posto auto ben curato, pulitissimo e con ogni confort che si possa volere. In posizione strategica a pochi minuti da Argostoli. Non c'era una cosa che non ci fosse all'occorrenza. Host sociale, abita affianco ma ti lascia i giusti spazi, molto disponibile e presente già via telefono da prima che arrivassimo, dandoci informazioni sul noleggio e indirizzandoci su ristoranti e locali…ti fa sentire da subito come a casa. Ci ha fatto trovare anche dei prodotti di primo consumo come latte, pane, acqua e ci ha fatto trovare anche una bottiglia di vino tipica molto gradita. Viaggiare è bello, ma se soggiorna in posti così diventa veramente molto piacevole. Consigliatissimo

A first class property. Modern yet charming. Extremely clean.
We spent an amazing two weeks on the beautiful island of Kefalonia. A visit that was enhance by our stay at cottage Hestia. We have travelled extensively throughout Greece and this is the best place we have stayed. It has every comfort that you will need, and literally is like a home from home. It is well maintained and very very clean. The support from the host is superb. Really supportive with information and help, but without being too intrusive. The actual location is perfect for exploring the island. Nothing is too far away. In fact, the close proximity (about 15 min drive) to the airport made for a relaxed journey. Argostoli is only a 10/15 drive away, and being so close really added massive value to the holiday. We were able to spend several evenings relaxing there, enjoying a fantastic atmosphere and variety of restaurants. From just watching the world go by sat in the central square, to taking a sunset cruise from the harbour, or taking advantage the frequent ferries to make the 15 minute journey across to Lixouri. Just wonderful. Many, many amazing beeches can be easily reached. During our first week week we easily drove to Myrtos, Antisamos, Scala, Lourdas, and Xi. However in the second week we spent all of our time at the local beech in Spartia, only 10 mins drive away. For beech lovers this offered everything we wanted and needed. Also very close by we found brilliant local tavernas. One, Anna's, is literally a short 5 minute walk away. Superb authentic Greek food. Overall a real gem of a property. Superb hosts, top accommodation and a unique location on the island. If you are looking for a property, and you are reading this, then my recommendation to you is to stop lookng, and just book cottage Hestia. Have a great holiday.

La casa è perfetta per 2/3 persone, funzionale e perfetta (sembra nuovissima).
Mick e Maria, proprietari Inglesi del cottage, abitano a fianco, sono gentilissimi e simpatici. Cercano di aiutare gli ospiti in ogni modo e con molta discrezione. Ci hanno consigliato posti da visitare, ristoranti e supermercati per eventuali approvvigionamenti. Porteremo sempre con noi un ottimo e affettuoso ricordo di loro.

Lovely cottage, village and hosts - what more could you want?
Having extensively researched where we would like to stay for our holiday in Kefalonia we came across 'Cottage Hestia''. We decided to go ahead and book as it had all the elements we were looking for to make a good holiday. The owners Mick and Maria were excellent from the very beginning by keeping in touch with us either by email or phone. Mick organised a scooter for us and took us down to collect it after we had time to check out - what I liked to call the bungalow. Half an hour previous to this he had collected us from the airport. Great service. Cottage Hestia is exceptionally clean, plenty of towels, constant hot water, plenty of space, lots of storage and coat hangers. Very airy too! The single beds were amazingly comfortable. You also have your own little balcony but are more than welcome to use the sunny back garden. Some lovely little touches there as well. Mick and Maria are definitely in the right trade as they are both dedicated to 'you' making the most of your time there in the cottage and on the island. Lot's of fascinating stories about the most lovely idyllic village, the history behind it, where to eat etc. Equally, if you want to do your own thing and just come and go they are not intrusive whatsoever. They just want to know you are happy. I could go on and on, but in short, I think you would be hard pressed to find such accommodation at such a good price whatever the season. We knew on the second day that we would be returning, and anyone that knows me, knows that my bucket list is vast...so yes, we will be returning to see the bluest of seas and eat the lovely Greek food, but mostly the lovely couple who are Mick and Maria - great hosts. A charming cottage
Hestia cottage is the perfect place to return after a day visiting the island of Kefalonia.It is spotless,modern and fully equipped,with a nice garden where you can sit in the evening.The village is quiet,safe and only 10 minutes by car from Argostoli.The owners ,Maria and Mick were perfect hosts,very friendly and helpful.It was nice to talk to them like good neighbours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.Thanks!!Ciao

Charming Cottage and Wonderful Hosts
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hestia Cottage. The rental is well-equipped, charmingly decorated, and situated in a quiet village away from the crowded touristy spots. It is well-situated near the airport and main roads to the main town of Argostoli and to any of the main excursion destinations on the island. We enjoyed lovely scenic day trips to nearly every spot on the island and had time for daily, refreshing dips in the sea. Mick and Maria are fantastic hosts who welcomed us warmly to the island, provided is with fresh tomatoes from their garden, and offered us an amazing beach tour informing us of their conservation work protecting the nests of the island's sea turtles. We do not hesitate to recommend this rental and its hosts highly for a very comfortable, relaxing stay in Kefalonia!

Fabulous holiday
We had a fantastic 2 week holiday in kefelonia, the cottage was more than we expected. It was equipped with everything we needed and mick and Marie were only too happy to accommodate anything we needed. They showed us all the local sights and couldn't do enough for us. Mick and Marie were the perfect hosts and helped to make our holiday amazing. The village where the cottage is situated is lovely and the locals were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The local restaurant in the village served excellent food and great service, and the local shop owner was very friendly. We have booked again for next year and told all our friends about this lovely cottage. Thank you so much mick and Marie for such fantastic memories. Jai and Bev xxx
