"This place is fantastic. Walkable to old town Chania, grocers and bakery’s super close. Parking was sort of included, only two spots, had to park on street twice but even that was close. Great apartment. Washing machine came in clutch. "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at Portou House. Our room was on the top floor. There was some hanging space but not a lot of storage other than one drawer. The bed was really comfortable and toiletries and a hairdryer were peovided. The room would benefit from soundproofing as there was a bit of noise from a nearby restaurant, however this did not spoil our stay. The rooms are in a great location. We would definitely return. "

"I did really enjoy my two weeks at Villa Oreastro. To start with the hosts Johanna and Rob, very friendly and supportive - I really felt being in good hands. The the environment with villages taverns, easy access to wonderful bays and swimming spots. There’s a lot to discover and enjoy. And not to forget the cats dogs the parrot and many more. Definitely on my list for next year."

"Overall a really good villa but the pool is too deep for younger children and there wasn’t enough larger drinking glasses for more than 2 people when the villa can sleep 6 or more. "Lovely villa in a beautiful location, close to nearby towns & beaches. The property itself cannot be faulted and the listing is accurate. The only negative that we were impacted by is the local 'quiet hours' that we were blissfully unaware of before arrival. Apparently, 15:00-17:30 is a time of the day when the locals want quietness...this was communicated only by finding an unsigned note stuck to the gate on the first morning there. Subsequently, 2 children playing together in the private pool...

"We enjoyed a marvellous week at this beautiful villa set amidst olive trees and with a spectacular view of the White mountains from the roof terrace. Well placed for trips to Chania, Rethymno, Aptera, the beach and local villages. The villa itself is beautifully designed and very well equipped. Fun visits from the owners' dogs and very affectionate cat! A very peaceful setting - wonderful for anyone needing to relax and unwind. We will be keen to visit again some time!"
