"I had a lovely stay! One thing I might recommend, is making the opening times for the bar/breakfast area more visible, there were a few times when we checked for cocktails and it wasn't open. Other than that, 10/10 stay! Thank you very much! "

"A very basic hostel with little service and bad breakfast. The toilet is dirty and mirrors are never cleaned. The only plus is the central location of the hostel."

"Accommodation booked through Expedia when hotel was closed and remains closed , borders are closed and several months later I still don’t have my refund . I am still awaiting my refund from hotel and Expedia . Refund should have been instant as soon as they learned hotel was not even open ? Shame on you Expedia !"

"The rooms are really dirty, the bathrooms are pretty disgusting and our bed sheets had mold on them. I felt really bad for the workers who were there when we checked in but we ended up having to leave because the conditions of the room were just really awful and the owners seem very aware of it. "

"Fab Dive offered a big clean upstairs bungalow for my friend and I. It's got a nice secluded location by the black sand beach. The place is mostly focused on divers and helping them so their service were focused on that, although the receptionist was super helpful when our shuttle bus was late. There's a little restaurant next door which helps with convenience. Good place"

"Eigentlich war ich hier eingebucht, habe aber nach Anreise erfahren, dass in meinem Zimmer kein Strom war. Ich wurde in eine andere Anlage gefahren (Tulamben Wreck Divers). Am Ende war ich zufrieden, im ersten Moment war die Enttäuschung aber groß. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt im richtigen (Ersatz)Resort. Für mich hat sich der Tausch gelohnt. Auch wegen der angenehm großen Frühstücksmenüauswahl."

"I heard a strange sound at night. I did not know what it was. I found a rat on the last day. “Rat” I went to pay through the site but they did not check it. They asked twice a day. Did you pay? Where is the site?everytime ask !!omg i never try again never recommend "

"I highly recommend this homestay. The room was clean and basic and walking distance from the main strip in Ubud. It's about 1.5 kilometers down a hill. I did not have problems walking it. I recommend that if you are walking at night to walk on Il Suetra (road that homestay is on) as opposed to the other road that is more scenic because it s not lit in certain areas. There are stretches in both roads where there are no sidewalks but I walked facing traffic and moved to the the side when cars...

"This was my first time staying at a hostel and can I say.. it was awesome! I stayed in the all female dorm, which has its own bathroom, and with everyone running on different time tables wasn't an issue. The staff were just lovely and their little menu of authentic meals was super cool and ridiculously cheap. I met people from all over the world, that I now call friends! out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk! 10/10 from this aussie"

"Let me start by saying this is a beautiful property! From the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty. Someone is available and at your back and call 24 hours a day I felt so spoiled. "Linen, particularly towels were not properly washed and not replaced on daily basis. Had to ask for replacement. Otherwise we liked the property, employess were very courteous. Limited choice for vegeterian breakfast. "

"Friendly Staff. Great quite property with private pool. We book 5 bedrooms, the main building has 3 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms are located on the adjacent building. All bedroom has attached private bath. All the bathroom shared the same hot water heater tank hence if one has used up all the hot water for the bathtub than other need to wait for hot water regeneration otherwise you will get cold shower. Staff delivered welcome drink and fruits to the villa when we arrived and also delivered breakfast...

"I’ve stayed at the Alaya twice and both times have exceeded my expectations. This time for 1 week and it was just perfect. The staff is amazing. The spa is incredible, pools and gym are all a 10. I would definitely stay here again. Location is close to the center and walkable to a lot IF the heat wasn’t so intense but it’s Bali and it is, so we still needed to use taxis to get to some of the “spots” but not a big deal. Lots of restaurants and shops near. Yoga Barn is literally next door if that’s your vibe! "
