"This property was very peaceful and had beautiful views. The decor was lovely however, unfortunately there were a few things still waiting to be fixed at the property which let it down. There is no number on the letterbox and we arrived late at night and had a lot of trouble finding it. I had to dust down cobwebs from ceilings above beds and clean mugs before we could use them. The couch had a lot of sand between the cushions and was not very comfortable. The master bed was extremely soft which...

"Had a great stay! Directions from Anita were clear and easy to follow. Views were absolutely stunning and we also loved Patrick's art inside the bach. Both hosts were friendly and happy to chat when we crossed paths."

"When we drove up to the property we were deloghted to be greeted by rabbits, geese and sheep frolicking through the paddocks.The views over the hills and down to the water were to die for, it is also a great place to watch the sunrise.The shower was warm and strong, the bed is big and super comfy.The room was charming, spacious and clean.Town was an easy drive (recommend McCleods brewery and little 'lato) but not walking distance and we were also very close to the glow worm caves.The host also...

"Lovely cottage with comfortable bed. Good kitchen facilities and host provided tea coffee milk and cookies for us on arrival. Nice warm facilty with good shower. Good directions and instructions found it in the dark. Great bird life all around and close to Tutukaka for diving trip"

"The parking lot is very spacious and the garbage is comfortable. Also, there was a Ruakaka stream in front of the garden, so it was good as a healing point. If there is a heat pump, it will be a recommended accommodation for four seasons that I really want to visit even in hot summer and cold winter."

Would love to make a suggestion to have some pedestal fans available to use at night for sleeping, it’s such a nice warm bach but unbearable for sleep…….we wished we’d brought our own fans. Also Bachcare sent us the wrong lockbox code but we’re lucky they answered the phone with the first call and rectified the problem. Thankyou to the owners for renting out their home so people like us can have a summer holiday at the best location!!"

"The cottage was extremely clean and tidy, and very well appointed. Little things, like extra tea towels and toilet paper in the drawers, really made it feel like a home away from home. There was a small amount of road noise during the day, but the landscaping made any traffic invisible. It was so nice to sit in the sun, surrounded by garden. An oasis in our busy week! "
