"I stayed here for 5 nights at the very end of March 2025. My room was on the 8th Floor, nice and quiet. I paid for a single 'double' as I wanted a bit more room. Basically, I think it was a standard twin (both beds pushed together), which suited me and I thought it was very good value. Plenty of choice for breakfast - inc porridge, fruit, cold meets, pancakes, omelette, juice etc. Rooms were cleaned and tidied every day. Gym is quite well stocked for a hotel - €5 gets you a 24hr pass to the gym so you can effectively go 2 'days' in a row which I did. I walked into the old town each day which took me 20-25 min, there was a chilly wind across the bridge but that's to be expected for March/early April. Literally 3 - 4 min walk from the hotel is a shopping mall with a fairly big supermarket inside and a smallish food court (perhaps 7 or 8 food outlets) upstairs. Checkout at 12 is useful and they will keep your bags safe until you want to pick them up. Other than breakfast, I didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the quality of meals (apart from the breakfast, which was quite good). All in all, it was good value and I'd stay there again if I ever return to Riga. "

"Perfect location! Has tram and bus stops nearby. The central market is within walking distance and so is the Latvia National Library whic is just across the river. And everything in the old town is walkable. The view of the river was amazing! Best view not just at sunset, but also at night and in the morning. The room size was adequate and it was spotless. The breakfast spread was great. They even have sparkling wine at breakfast! All the staff, from the reception area, to the spa "

"My mom was very disappointed for her flight to London was cancelled, and she have to look for some Hotel to stay overnight. Her mood changed from sad to super happy when she entered this hotel wich was only 2 minutes walk from Riga Airport, she was greeted by very professional and friendly staff, they check her in earlier,give her every support she needed ,and mom said she had best hotel night ever,and bonus was morning very taste breakfast,highly recommend, thank you very much Sky High hotel for taking care of my mom! ❤️ "
