The hotel's location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to many popular attractions, restaurants, and shops. But what really made our stay stand out was the exceptional staff. "We had previously written Memmingen off as a purely transit town - handy for the nearby airport and nothing else. This was based on the less-than-inspiring train station and it’s immediate vicinity. However, on this visit we were pleasantly surprised to discover a remarkable ’old town’ district a short walk away. Memmingen is worth a longer stay to explore the ancient streets and beautiful buildings, intact after avoiding WWII bombing. The Limehome suite we stayed in was immaculate, very well appointed and in a fantastic location - steps away from the train station and strolling distance from the charming historic centre. Very affordable, spacious and comfortable - we will definitely stay there again to benefit from the cheaper flights through Memmingen airport. "

"This is a most impressive hotel with welcoming and professional staff, lovely rooms and a superb breakfast (it's a long time since I've had a fried egg in a hotel breakfast buffet). The room was spacious, comfortable and well soundproofed and also with very good blackout blinds. As mentioned, there is no car parking on site, but the municipal car park is a minute's walk away and is safe and inexpensive (there is also a shopping centre car park a five-minute walk away). We will certainly be back here."
