"Our room was ready right on the check in time of 3pm. It would have been nice to check in earlier since the weather was miserable. We checked in at the sister hotel Lilianfels as there was no staff at our hotel. The room was tidy. The bathroom was so very very tight and tied, you could not fit more than one person in there. There is not enough parking on the premises especially of an evening which is very frustrating in wet weather."

"The building was beautiful and well maintained. Reception staff were amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant was a bit disappointing. Very expensive and the older waiter was very rude and the food was either undercooked or overcooked. Would stay there again but would probably not eat at the restaurant again. "

"Sipha and John are excellent hosts, Katoomba Manor is luxury away from the stress of the city. The total atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the hosts are gracious friendly and very accommodating. The cooked breakfast is delicious and filling. We have no problems recommending a weekend stay here and will return again in the near future. 5 stars......."
