"Our stay was wonderful. We loved the little pool and easy access to beach and restaurants as well as the on-site parking. Breakfast was tasty and the service was lovely. The only thing I would mention is that our sink was clogged but repaired a few days into our stay."

"Spent a week at Mike and Inka's studios. Mike was waiting for us at the airport for our pick up with a bottle of water each. Very happy with our top floor studio, drinks prices on wall for fridge were very reasonable. Comfy large bed and pillows, great air con. Mike recommended local restaurants to us. Great breakfast every morning, lovely to sit outside. Good pool, we were sometimes the only ones there! Look forward to returning next year!"

"We found the staff very friendly and the apartments very comfortable and excellent value. The position of the hotel by a small harbour was very pretty and it was very easy to go either into the town or explore the countryside. Our favourite part of the hotel was the pool which was very attractive indeed and easy to access from the apartments. There were shady and sunny areas by the pool. "

"Lovely little villa, with friendly staff. The desk isn't maned all the time but the owners are very proactive in being there when they need to. Studio was ideal size for us and our baby who enjoyed crawling around. Didn't have the views the other rooms had but was tucked away in the corner so had shade and was cool. ideal for a paled skinned family with a young baby. Only down fall was navigating the steps with the pram and getting up the steep hill from the main round. But we were aware of this...

"We had a lovely time staying at Villaggio Mare Suites. The apartment was the perfect size for us, the bed was really comfy and shower was good. The pool and sunlounger area was great, and I loved the fact I got the pool to myself a few times when it was quiet. The staff were friendly and the location was also great, a few minutes walk from the beach and near lots of nice restaurants and shops. The only improvement we could think of would be that the kitchen could have had some other basics like...

"Beautifully located apartment, walkable distance to a beach and various beach bars. Bus stop across the road and you can take a frequently going bus to central Chania or other beaches. Lots of good bars and restaurants in the area too. Apartment had everything you need with a small kitchen and it was kept clean for us."

"Hi everybody. Don't go to this hotel, seriously. When we came, one guy tell us to follow him without go to the reception & without give us some paper. We arrive to the room, and the guy leave at this moment. We look the room, the room... It was so dirty. The bed without bedsheets, the shower was very dirty, we didn't had light, & the sink was dirty as well. The pool promise fabulois was without water... Just, look the picture, don't go THERE!!!"

Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. Very small tvs and old style coffee filter. Might benefit from a small upgrade to nespresso and slightly better entertainment system. But these are minor issues. "My wife and I stayed for a week in this beautiful, well-appointed apartment in a great location for touring Crete. It feels like a palace with marble floors throughout and doors to the outside in every room. The view of the sea across the road from the apartment is spectacular. There is a beach and many restaurants and services within easy walking distance. Maria is an outstanding host, going above and beyond to provide for your every need. "
