"利用客の少ない平日に利用させていただきました、季節柄と今年の異常な気候によりカメムシが異常に発生しており、客室には十数匹のカメムシと独特の匂いが充満しており驚愕！！！最上階のお部屋でベランダと網戸、そしてサッシの部屋内側には無数のカメムシの死骸が・・・ 非常に大きな立派な施設ですが、細かい処の清掃や管理がなされていない感じがいたしました。 人不足せいですかね・・・ 朝食のみのプランでしたので、夕食はわかりませんが朝食は個食で味わい深いお品だけに残念でした。 また、温泉は実は（冷泉の加温！！）でした"

"I booked this hotel mainly for its airport shuttle. Even though there’s only one to the airport in the morning, they went above and beyond to help and accommodate me. The room was massive and provided absolutely lovely views. I do have tattoos so they had to be covered when entering the bath. The building is old and smells of moisture, which I think comes with running an onsen. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much. "

"We had the most wonderful stay here for our honeymoon, staff were so friendly and ensured we were looked after well. The hotel was spotless and the decor was incredible. The private dining was fantastic with lots of different courses. We highly recommend staying here! "

"Beautiful onsen outside. Beautiful meals with gorgeous dishes and incredible personal service. Rooms were very comfortable and lovely. Some of the food was a bit odd for western tourists but there was more than enough to enjoy. We loved a day trip to Natadera. One of the most memorable temples we visited in Japan and the least crowded. Walk along the gorge also was nice. The town appeared interesting but was mostly closed on Tuesday when we were there. "

"The picture, the huge crab aquarium at the entrance, the crab marking on the room numbers tell it all, this is a Ryokan for eating really good crab. Sakai, is a far place, and it is pretty old and run down, but it would all be worth it for the crab. So you can imagine my surprise when I learned that despite it being crab season my dinner doesn't have any crab. Had they informed me in check-in that my dinner didn't have crab, I would've been slightly upset that I had to pay a few hundred...

"Our experience was lovely! We stayed two nights. The staff was so accomodating--it was our first experience at a traditional ryokan, and the staff was very helpful in explaining various customs. They made us feel very at home. The free shuttle to and from the station was very convenient and easy to reserve. The check-in and check-out processes were easy and pleasant as well, with matcha and sweets provided at check-in as an opportunity to rest and look out on the garden. Our room was gorgeous,...
