"Easily the best place I stayed in whilst in Japan. It’s a ryokan and yet it has full 5 star hotel features. I chose a room with a private outdoor Onsen bath and kaiseki dinner option. Room was huge (75sq/m) with a separate bedroom, living room and sitting area with a wood burner. I started the fire and sat there for hours in between my private lovely hot onsen. "A reasonably priced hotel that serves the basics for the night. Staff were friendly and helpful and check in went smoothly. Spacious room and felt clean despite the old feeling of the building. Located in the red light district, so possibly somewhere to stay clear of if staying with minors. "
