"Deniz is a wonderful person and the house is a very pleasant place to be. The surrounding area is a mess, but it is really in the center of the city. I can't understand how a city could let this happen, but it is what it is. It isn't cheap compared to some hotels in the area, but for me it was worth it."

"The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was big and comfortable. At times there was a sewer smell but it wasn't extremely strong or constant. The breakfast buffet was good but get there early (before 9 am. If you get there at 9 am or later, everything is empty or only a few things left. When the çay runs out, no more is made. The hotel is located close to everything. "

"The staff was very helpful. The hotel location is within walking distance from the bus station as well as the castle. The staff went out of their way to find some affordable travel accommodations to Ani since the usual bus does not operate during the COVID pandemic. Overall, it was a nice 2 night stay."

"We only stayed for one night before leaving Kars with the Dogu Ekspresi. The hotel was very close to the train station, and had an overall good location on a big street with many restaurants nearby. As everywhere in Kars, the staff did not really speak English, but they were very helpful, and the breakfast was great! The room was very small, and very cold!! Cozy, but impossible to walk on the floor without shoes on (it was however -20 degrees Celsius outside). Overall a good experience."
