"At the last minute we were unable to make our trip. After communication with host, who btw is really quick to answer and was very willing to work with us, it was agreed our granddaughter would go in our place. She loved the place, loved the peacefullness and though alone said she didn't feel concerned in any way. The host and Coach were there doing some repairs when she arrived and gave her a tour and acquainted her with everything. She couldn't say enough nice things about it all. I look forward to being able to get there eventually!! Thank you Browns for sharing your little slice of paradise!"

"We had the most wonderful stay at this charming lake house! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The view of Lake Caddo is absolutely breathtaking—there’s nothing like waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the lovely screened-in porch. We also loved the little dock, which was perfect for some peaceful fishing.The boat launch was super convenient for putting in our kayaks, and we had so much fun on the water. Plus, being so close to Big Pines Lodge made it easy to enjoy a delicious dinner just a short drive away. We also had a great time walking around the historic town of Jefferson.This trip was such a treat for the family, and we’ll definitely be planning another stay here in the future. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind, enjoy nature, and make some great memories!"

"From booking to checkout this was an exceptional experience. Nan was communicative, kind, and helpful with any questions. The home & property are both beautiful and immaculate! All of the outdoor areas were clean and fresh, no spider webs or debris, just a relaxing enjoyable space to spend time with family. Nan went far beyond being accommodating, it felt like we were staying in the home of a friend that loved us dearly and put a lot of thought and care into making sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed, as well as a few sweet surprises. She does hospitality on a very high level, and set a new standard for a rental property. We’ve never been so pleased with a stay, and we’re thankful we got to make some sweet memories at the Grand Mamou - Caddo Lake! "

"Cute cabin for my daughter and I to spend a mother/daughter weekend. Hosts were fabulous! Great area to relax and have some downtime. Looking forward to visiting again. "

"We rented this out for the Valentine’s weekend and it was perfect for my husband and I! Very cozy one-room cabin had everything we needed for the weekend. We spent most of our time on the HUGE screened in porch listening to the rain! The futon was a great touch, as it was so comfortable, we took an afternoon nap on the porch during the thunderstorm! There are many houses in the neighborhood that we weren’t expecting by the pics. But the neighborhood was exceptionally quiet! I don’t even think we heard a dog bark. I do regret we did not get to use the kayaks because of the weather. Definitely will be booking again and making use of the kayaks next time! "
