"Larger than expected with mostly families. Zillions of children and breakfast mayhem. This is a lovely hotel but maybe not ideal in high season unless you’ve got small children. Most of the guests were Russian. Breakfast is a bunfight although the fare is excellent and the staff are absolutely on point when it comes to turning round the tables. "The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The pool area was very slippery, felt unsafe every time we stepped out of the pool. Not very convenient for families with babies. No child pool, and the kids club is very small leaving the kids bored. There wasn’t a lot near the hotel you have to take a taxi to the town , 20 min drive usually 400 baht a direction , so 800 both ways. The breakfast was nice addition. "Nice size hotel but on a very narrow plot. The beds on the beach were about six rows deep and the ones around the pool were four deep. The sun beds were good but the umbrellas were too small to supply enough shade and you couldn’t move them. Breakfast was good although coffee from the machines was average. "The restaurant is phenomenal, maybe some of the best food we had in Thailand. All excursions are extra and the main activity is really to just watch the sunrise and sunset, kayak, swim, and just enjoy the sounds of the first around you. The villas get pretty warm during the day, even with the AC running, though it all cools off nicely at night."
