"The beach was very rough due to the storms and not one of the nicest beaches on Koh Rong. I wish the resort had a gym. The restaurant was great. The food was reasonably priced and very good. A very clean small pool on the property. The resort staff was very warm, gracious and helpful. Plenty of warm water (hot showers) and the premise was very clean. "

"Amazing, going home and thinking how soon can I get back here? A small village and port but a great resort if you want to eat good food that’s reasonably priced and swim in the Gulf of Thailand all day long. Our villa faced the ocean and while I didn’t Actually count the steps it was so close from door to ocean and we loved it so much. We had a fabulous time. Highly recommend GOLDEN BEACH RESORT. "

"This was a perfect island get away. The staff was exceptional. The owners were involved. More like a family affair with a wonderful community feel. Over the Holidays they organized games in the restaurant to include everyone (I was solo and never felt left out). I even had a medical issue and the owner and a local pulled me aside and gave me some excellent and very timely information that saved me from some real problems.
