"A really great place to stay. Very spacious with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. It is a true one-bedroom unit with plenty of room. The Chromecast on the TV is a great touch because you can stream any content off your phone if you don't speak a Japanese. We really loved staying here."

"We were within about 10 blocks of Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden - this meant the only time we actually needed to ride the bus was to and from Kanazawa Station, only 3 stops away. The rest was completely walkable with kids. The apartment was located in Kinboro- well known for the several hundred year old Samurai residences. We were within a few hundred meters of excellent dining options. One of those was Izumino, whose amazing owners stuffed us with sashimi and crab cakes and spoiled...

"A clean, efficient unit, much like a small apartment. Has a stove top, microwave and small kitchen to prepare simple meals or heat up things. About a 10min walk to the train station and a short wall to a bus stop and family mart. It is a walk up so you will need to climb stairs to your unit. The bathroom is like new and the bed is comfortable. "

"The home is on a busy street and shakes every time a bus goes by. They seem to stop by 10:00 PM and don't start again until 7:00 AM. If the house was 90 feet over it would certainly be better. Beds were comfortable and the home is close to The castle and the gardens, both of which are phenomenal to visit. The dining area is pleasant enough. "The apartment was clean and bright. Cooking was possible and it was a very convenient location. Some messages weren’t responded to which is a problem in an unmanned hotel. Like most places in Japan there’s a real lack of flexibility around bedding (the eiderdown/doona is way too hot with no other options - take note management.)"

"The room was great, well lit, very large, easy walk with luggage from the train station. We were placed in an annex. Maybe the actual hotel is better. There are 2 flights of narrow steep stairs. No elevator, this was very difficult carrying luggage up. There was another room in the annex which you share the kitchen and toilet with those tenants. You do get your own shower, which is private, but its in the same room. You share the vanity, mirror, there are 3 sinks and you get your own blow dryer....

"We loved this property! The room was fantastic and had loads of space (especially storage for bags etc). We were travelling with our baby and there was a cot, a high chair and baby soap! Also having our own washing machine was so helpful (the property also provided washing powder) and there was space to dry the clothes too. "Amazing house to stay in, would highly recommend for the experience. It was very comfortable with all the expected amenities. "We had a lovely stay in this hotel with our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We had a 4 bed room, and just enough space for suitcases. The highlight was the bathroom - it was the biggest bathroom of our Japan trip - 2 basins, and the best shower ever! Highly recommend staying here if you are going to Kanazawa. Its really close to the Castle, gardens and markets. An easy 18 minute walk from the Shinkensen station too, so we didnt bother with taxis. The online checkin and checkout wasnt too painful, so dont let that put you off. I did read all the negative reviews here - but that wasnt our experience. This was the best hotel for our needs in Kanazawa, and very reasonably priced. "

"Central location. Easy walk from the train station without having to cross any major roads. Walking distance to the castle and gardens. Omichio market just nearby. Many good restaurants too. Hotel is clean. Breakfast although busy has very good selection. Check in took a while as there were many guests so have to take a number. Free coffee and matcha latte which is an absolute plus. The bathroom is superb with powerful all body shower. The laundry room does get very busy though. Overall, enjoyed staying here! Thank you."
