"The room was super warm and humid. The windows couldn't shut fully and had incects coming in. The opposite of the property have chickens and dogs that will make noise super early in the morning. There were some lion dance practices till late at night. The room have no poles/hooks to hang stuff. Only have a small row of hooks behind the door. The property wall had tissue paper stuffed in it and multiple defects on the wall. The property has very noisy flooring, I can hear everyone walking...

"A beautiful restored shophouse. Very welcoming staff and very clean common areas. The rooms can get a bit warm in the afternoon as part of the roof is covered in zinc and conducts heat directly into the room. Bed is located in the attic which can be a slight inconvenience but it adds to the overall charm of the place. Toilets are small and poky but still good enough for me. For the price, I would still recommend this place for those seeking something out of the ordinary. "

"Located within Georgetown, it is within walking distance to many of the attractions in Georgetown. The food selection and availability is also incredible. What is most attractive though about this property is that is retains so much of the original vibes of a peranakan shophouse. The blend of historical furnishing and modern amenities makes for a nostalgic and yet comfortable stay. The only setback is its location along a narrow road. "It's well maintained, and is close to Kamtar, George Town, 1st Avenue Shopping Mall and plenty of eateries around; and can easily access further away by Grab. I like its reasonable good size swimming pool. Buffet breakfast is a delight with plenty of selection. Room is spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful."
