"On the whole, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. There was a hiccup when we check in and they could not find our booking. It took some time but was sorted out. One minus point was the drainage at the shower area. The drainage was not good and fast enough for the rain shower and it started to pond and eventually flow out of the shower area. That makes the floor very slippery and thus the chances of slipping and falling is high."

"Despite hotel providing ear plugs, could still hear noise coming from the main road. Bed quilt was smelly and waited about 1/2 hour to replace. Rain shower was good but can see soap scum on glass and surrounding. Brekkie was good but considering paying top price for the 2 rooms, there are better options elsewhere."

"Nicely appointed hotel, but could improve on certain things. The pool needs more maintenance - it has quite a few chipped tiles that could be dangerous. We felt the sharp edges a few times during our swim sessions, and are lucky not to be hurt. Also, the ladder was missing a few steps the first time we were in the pool, but that was fixed the next time we went. "An amazing little treasure in Ipoh! I'm so glad to have found this fascinating boutique hotel owned by Debbie and her husband. She gave us a warm welcome and was so helpful with everything.
