"Great location, breakfast and helpful staff. You can find it right off the station. The hotel is located above a mall, with easy access to restaurants on the 4th floor. The breakfast was great! Lots of options and well worth the price. Hotel staff was helpful and even helped us fill out the mailing paper to ship our luggage to the next hotel. The public bath was smaller and much more crowded than expected but it did the job."

"The staff at this property are unbelievable. They go out of their way for you. The hotel has pretty much ski in, with access to the chair lift right outside the front door. Dinner is amazing, breakfast is not as good, but has plenty on offer with fruits, hot and cold options. The onsen downstairs was renovated whilst we were staying there and looks great, much more inviting. Access to the Hakuba Valley Shuttle just up the road, walkable. "A reasonably priced hotel that serves the basics for the night. Staff were friendly and helpful and check in went smoothly. Spacious room and felt clean despite the old feeling of the building. Located in the red light district, so possibly somewhere to stay clear of if staying with minors. "

"Good find for last minute in winter high season. It's basically a hostel. The common area and kitchen could be spruced up. The heater in the room was either too hot or had to be turned off. I opened windows and left it on to find the sweet spot. The bathrooms were down the hall and in a very cold hallway. Location was close to train station, close to shuttle to some resorts, Happo was 20 minutes away by walking or ¥800 on the infrequent bus. I walked. There are some decent restaurants close....
