"Sigurd’s home is absolutely lovely. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with a wonderful view. But more importantly, the house is spotless and equipped with everything you need to have a home away from home. We hated leaving. And he responded to any needs we had right away. "Fairly basic flat, clean and has everything you need. Up above the road so sitting outside on a nice evening has a great view. Owner lives upstairs and is very helpful. Beds comfy and good shower. Very friendly local cat comes to visit. About 25 minutes drive to centre of Bergen and loads of good walking and fjord swimming places within 20 minutes drive max. Thoroughly recommend for 10 days exploring."

Der Internetanschluß war 'ne Wucht, TV über Sat, Mobilfunk überall LTE. Das Hinderniss bestand darin, dass wir liebend gerne vom Ufer aus angeln, das aber auf dieser Insel so gut wie unmöglich ist (entweder bebaut, oder einfach zu steil). Es ist schlecht ausgestattet, ungemütlich und das Schlafen unterm Dach ist eine Zumutung, angesichts der Raumhöhe (in der Mitte ca. 140 cm) und des Holz- und Farbgeruchs sowie der mangelnden Durchlüftung. Da wacht man jeden Morgen mit Kopfschmerzen auf. In und um das Haus herum liegt eine Menge Unrat, Boots- und Angelzubehör. Für den Preis (auch als erfahrener Norwegen-Urlauber) zu wenig Gebotenes."

"I stayed here with my family (2 adult couples, 1 10 year old) in late September. We got lucky with great weather. The house got a lot of sun - we made good use of the window shades! - and we soaked it up on the deck. Several of us enjoyed a dip in the fjord and a soak in the hot tub afterwards. We rented a boat from the hotel next door one day, and went hiking another day. It was a great place to relax and enjoy nature, and had everything we needed. "
