"The Courtyard is so much more beautiful than any photo can suggest. The bougainvillea cascade over the inner courtyard full of welcoming nooks and leafy arbors. "It is a fantastic small private hotel, new, modern and clean—a beautifully designed spacious bedroom with a terrace overlooking the sea and the city. Fantastic Turkish breakfast, with local cheeses, Turkish eggs, and pastries served in a sunlit restaurant. The hotel is located off the quiet residential street, but only five minutes’ walk to Kalkan’s centre, with its excellent restaurants, tavernas, shops and the seafront. I wish I could move in."

"The hotel was perfect for my short stay. The room and bed were warm and comfortable. The shower was hot. The breakfast was fresh, adequate and delicious. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I noticed that there was some black mould on the bathroom ceiling which I assume will be cleaned during the winter. "What a lovely hotel with wonderfully warm and attentive staff. Breakfast was sumptuous with huge variety every day dueing my stay.. highly recommend and can't wait to return. Big shout out to Rafi who checked me in and was very helpful throughout my stay :)"

"We found the hotel to largely be good. Great pool and rooms although a bit of a walk uphill from town. Breakfast was good, but the coffee was as I think another person on here said, awful. A few downsides, which I didn’t have the energy to raise with staff, were the fan in our room was broken, the AC only had one setting and was partially broken, and the drainage in our bathroom smelt awful, stinking out the room. No info provided and you have to find out yourself or ask everytime.We stayed for 5 days and ask for cleaning the third day. Cleaners said they can't mob the floor. They only change the bed sheets, towels and get rid of the garbage."

"Booked a last minute 3 night break to Kalkan. What a gem we found. Small clean family run hotel with the best view and the most helpful couple you could find. Just a short 15 minute walk into town. Located on the Kalamar Rd with a few bars and restaurants minutes away We were sad to leave Ali, Sarah, Caleb and Jessie but will return."

"The views from the various pools, the design of the rooms and the aesthetic of the restaurant are very nice. The grape vines and bougainvillea trees definitely have that "Mediterranean" vibe. "From the moment we arrived we absolutely loved our time at Kalamaki Flats! Ferhan and her team were incredibly welcoming, we arrived to warm smiles and a lovely welcome pack in the fridge, including homemade biscuits. The flat itself was incredibly clean and so well equipped with everything you could need. The terrace was also lovely and we enjoyed our breakfasts there daily and some wine before we made our way out for dinner. I’ve been to Kalkan many times and this was the best location I’ve stayed in, you were literally a road away from old town. Thank you so much again for a great stay, I’m sure we’ll be back! "

Amazing Villa

"Villa Manadlin is stunning and would highly recommend staying here. It is set over 4 floors with separate room / annex on bottom floor next to pool (we did not need to use this). Enough loungers at pool with very comfy padding - plus space in sun / shade to relax. Views from top terrace over Kalamar Bay are stunning. 20 min walk to Kalkan although the walk back up is a killer with the hills(but you can get a taxi).although"

"Ahmet and Kate were very hospitable. The hotel was quiet and well located in a gorgeous street. Pool area was good. Rooms were adequate - clean but on the small side and shower rooms tiny. Breakfast could have been improved with more fruit options ( very reasonably priced at local greengrocers) and oats. We enjoyed our stay and wld return. "

Fab stay at Villa Benita.

"We had a wonderful stay in Villa Benita. It has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The air conditioning was very welcome as was the pool, which is cleaned daily. There are lots of shady areas if you want to get out of the sun and an amazing roof terrace if you want more once the pool is in the shade. It’s also a great place for an evening drink before heading out to one of the many Nearby restaurants for a delicious meal. Communication with Rosie was very easy and Mehmet was always available if we needed anything. I would definitely stay if in Kalkan again. Thank you for a great stay."

Great couple of weeks

"Lovely property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy walk into town and lovely villa with amazing views of the bay. The description on VRBO doesn’t really do it justice. We had a welcome hamper and a mid stay clean included (standard in Kalkan and a nice touch). Wonderful owner who dropped off freshly baked sourdough bread !"
