"WE arrived there quite late, 4pm. It was about to be sunset and get cold. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful in giving tips to eateries and sights. The location of the hotel, on top of a hill, gives to great view of the sunset and sunrise as well as being a good marker for navigating back when you explore the small town by foot. "

"We stayed there after the walk from Inle Lake before we travelled on. We could wash our shoes in the backyard which was necessairy! The Lady at the reception is very friendly. For one night it is ok, but there us not much to do in Kalaw."

"It's atmosphere is very good with full of flowers. However, what is good ends there. The room was cold at night, electricty recepticles were sluggish and the basin cap plug did not work. The hot water capacity was too small and I had to give up filling a bath tub with hot water. Preparing breakfast was very slow."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Royal Kalaw Hills Resort. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food is excellent and the service was personal and everyone was very attentive. Chozin, who manages the resort was particularly helpful and I could always count on her to help me in many capacities. Her English skills are very good and she was able to help tremendously. Thank you all for a lovely visit!"

"We stayed here for two nights with relatives and friends for a short time vacation in Myanmar. Overall, it’s nice hotel to stay, Hotel facilities are new as they opened in 2016. The hotel is pretty green, room are quite clean. They have nice view, outdoor swimming pool, indoor gym even though I didn’t use them. They look pretty good.
